S2 Imaging Project Spotlight: TCMS Re-brand

12Aug 2014

Imagine completing 49 vehicle wraps in 6 locations over 60 days! These numbers describe our recent TCMS relogo project. TCMS (Temp-Control Mechanical Service) maintains a 46-vehicle fleet of vans, which deliver commercial HVAC services in Portland, Wilsonville, Eugene, Seattle, Lacey, and Longview.

In a previous post, we described how we used Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film to create a sleek, paint-like effect for each TCMS technician repair van. Today we’re taking a look at the logistics required to accomplish the same van graphics across the entire TCMS fleet.

When arranging multiple vehicle wraps, the previous condition of the automobiles is key. Obviously, more time is required when we must first remove old graphics. In this project, ten of the vehicles were graphic-free, but the majority sported existing vehicle graphics.

Portland being our home base, we also needed to arrange for the far-flung TCMS vans to be out of the field during graphic installation. Originally, TCMS had hoped to finish this re-branding project in 30 days, but that proved to be too little time, as it was difficult to schedule time for graphic application.

Ultimately, the project exemplifies how S2 Imaging can work with clients to keep company vehicles available while graphics are installed. It was troublesome for TCMS to arrange for graphic installation times. So we went the extra mile, installing some graphics at the client’s locations. Additionally, we added a lock box at our site, so Portland-based TCMS vehicles could be swapped out after hours.

We appreciate that the businesses we serve rely on their vehicles to stay profitable. To that end, we are happy to work with our clients to schedule graphic installation times that works for them.
